  • WI: Vagrant, Very rare (Five or less records)
  • Twice as big as a Common Swift. White sharply defined patch on the belly, otherwise generally a drab grey-brown rather than sooty. White throat patch. (Some Common Swifts are part albino - in those the belly is not sharpy defined). Slow wing action, deep beats
