Over the past year or so we have been called out to a Minke whale, two separate Risso's dolphins, a mass stranding of Pilot Whales in Durness, two other potential mass Pilot whale stranding incidents where there were two actual strandings and an Atlantic white sided dolphin. We have also picked up, cared for and transported three Grey pups over to the BDMLR Highland Seal Hospital.

It is known throughout BDMLR that we live in the area with highest stranding incident in the UK and your continued help will always be needed and appreciated.

Seal Hospital in Thurso

The seal hospital in Thurso is now fully operational and now has three seals
been looked after there. Jamie has managed to find time to set up a blog website in
order to keep everyone up to date with what is going on.
